Teen Services

Moving from school to adulthood is challenging — we have youth programs to help. If you are 14+ and eligible, we can connect and pay for you to participate in internships, apprenticeships and educational opportunities. Youths with disabilities can also receive additional support and services through the vocational rehabilitation program.

Career and Education assistance

For eligible youth ages 14 through 24, we can help pay for GED testing, studying and tutoring resources and completion of traditional or alternative high school. Once you’ve received your GED or diploma, our employment counselors will help you decide what to do next. We can connect you with and help you pay for additional education or certification needed for your desired career. You can even earn cash rewards while participating in our Career and Education program.

If you are a student with a disability, we can help you along your path to adulthood and a career with career exploration and counseling, workplace readiness, self advocacy and work-based learning opportunities. We work with community partners statewide to provide these services one-on-one or in group settings. Vocational rehabilitation

We help individuals with physical, intellectual, mental health and sensory disabilities to start their careers and gain more independence. To find out if you could benefit from vocational rehabilitation, take our one-minute online assessment and then contact your local Utah State Office of Rehabilitation office. We will connect you with individualized activities and services such as career counseling, disability treatment services, college and vocational training, assistive technology, job search assistance, supported employment and more.
