We assist Utah employers with recruitment support, job fairs, registering an apprenticeship, education partnerships and work experience opportunities as well as incentives, tax credits and funding. You can also post jobs with us and access our database of more than 200,000 job seekers at no cost.

Post job openings

Create an employer account or sign in at jobs.utah.gov where you will have access to our database of more than 200,000 active job seekers. We will match your job openings with candidates whose qualifications and location match your job description. You can sort candidates, add them to your “Favorites” category and contact them directly. You can also post more than one job at a time or copy a previous job opening.

Get the talent you need

We are here to help you build your workforce. Our regional workforce development specialists can connect you to the right on-the-job training, internship, apprenticeship or career pathway program to provide you with a pipeline of qualified workers. We may even be able to provide wage reimbursements for eligible participants. We also host no-cost virtual job fairs every other month at jobs.utah.gov to help you find new employees. There is no cost to participate in the fairs and it’s an easy way to find individuals looking for work.

Additionally, our business relations team for the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation provides one-on-one support on disability employment training and education as well as assistance to improve or add workplace accommodations.

Business incentives and tax credits

If you are a business that hires from certain target groups (including those receiving food or financial assistance), you can receive up to $9,600 per employee through the Work Opportunity Tax Credit. Additionally, we provide no-cost federal bonding to insure your business against any theft, forgery, larceny or embezzlement when you hire individuals with a background. We can help guide you through the process of receiving these business incentives and others.

Post a job
From the menu, create a company profile and post jobs for candidates to view. Keep in mind, the more detail you provide in your job descriptions, the better candidate matches the system will provide. Enter pre-application questions to help filter candidates and attach your company application. Once your job posting is complete you will see recommended candidates on your Dashboard. You can view resumes, mark your favorites and contact candidates.
