We can help you target your resume to the job you are applying for. Create an account or sign in at jobs.utah.gov to access our resume builder tool or to register for our online workshops. We have additional tools and worksheets to help you with networking and interviewing as well as a Smart Start guide to help you with every step of your job search.

At each of our 30 employment centers, employment counselors are available to meet with you one-on-one and help you explore career options, search for jobs and connect you to short-term training and education opportunities. Come to the nearest office today.

Create a Utah ID or sign in to your account
From jobs.utah.gov select ‘Sign in’ and ‘my Job Search’ in the upper right corner.

Search for jobs
To get the best job matches, complete your profile. Select ‘Menu’ and ‘Profile’ and then follow the prompts about your interests and skills and upload your resume. Once your profile is complete you will see recommended jobs on your Dashboard. You can view descriptions, mark your favorites and apply for openings.

Job search activities
Once you are signed in you can access our resume builder and job preparation tools and register for job search strategy workshops and virtual job fairs. Select ‘Activities’ from the menu to see the options. If you need additional help, visit an employment center near you.
